Cinco de Meow Fundraiser

Our biggest fundraising event of the year is just around the corner. Cinco de Meow, bow wow!CincoDeMeowColor1up

This year, funds raised will help us buy a new van to transport our cats and dogs to medical services. (NOTE: We may have an exciting update about a large donation toward the van that we are anticipating. Don’t want to count our kittens before they’re born. Stay tuned!)

We are creating a new Half-and-Half raffle for those who can not attend our event and still want to contribute to the cause. For every $10 donated, we will enter 1  ticket on your behalf into the Cindo De Meow Half-and-Half Raffle. If you donate $10, your name will be written on 1 ticket entered into this raffle. If you donate $20, you will have 2 tickets entered on your behalf. And so on, and so on.

Half the “kitty” (total amount raised) will be a donation to C.A.T.S. and half will go to the lucky winner whose ticket is pulled. Be generous and your chances increase! The more people who donate, the bigger the “kitty”!! We will update the size of the “kitty” here, so keep checking in to see how big it has grown!

We will match your donation amount to this form and put one ticket for every $10 that you donate into the bucket for the drawing. Winner will be drawn and contacted on May 2. Good luck!

Once you have donated, please make sure that we can contact you if you win by filling out the Cinco de Meow Raffle Entry Form.

C.A.T.S. Needs Your Help!

Calling all Friends of Cats About Town Society…WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Both our van and our retired ambulance have bit the dust and are no longer running. The cost to get either vehicle working, outweighs the value at this point.

Do you know of anyone who has a vehicle they would be willing to donate to C.A.T.S.? If so, please get in contact with Suna at 916-224-1999 or as soon as possible! Here is the ideal vehicle donation:

  • Van or large SUV
  • 8 years old or less
  • Working air conditioning and heater for front and cargo areas
  • Decent working condition

And here is what we can work with:

  • Any vehicle with a large capacity for transporting 10-20 pet carriers
  • Can be non-operational (if our mechanic is able to do the repairs, we can use it)

Here are the benefits to all involved:

  • Tax deductible donation. C.A.T.S. is a 501(c)3 organization.
  • A vehicle donation will enable CATS to continue our affordable medical services (dental surgeries and spay/neuter surgeries). We rely on our volunteers and a working vehicle to transport animals to the vet hospitals that we work with. Without a reliable vehicle, we will no longer be able to offer these services.

If you don’t know of a vehicle donation, would you be willing to donate to the cause of buying or repairing a used vehicle?  We will likely have to either do some major repairs on a donated vehicle or purchase a used vehicle. Any amount will help! Please and thank you!!!
