The theme is the “Great Catsby” - the roaring 20s, a post-war time of decadence and frivolity, flappers and gangsters, Babe Ruth, Charles Lindbergh, jaded elegance and lots of bling! The event will be outdoors at a gorgeous 3-acre plant nursery, Clancy’s Garden.
We’ll have 20′s music, unique raffle items, specialty products for sale, food, “moonshine” shooters, champagne (this is supposed to be like Gatsby after all!), croquet, bocce ball, badminton (actually Catminton, played with a catnip mouse rather than a birdie), magic, fortune tellers, Black Jack and poker played for/with dog biscuits, magicians, fortune tellers, vendor booths, games and more.
If you or someone you know would be interested, we are looking for donations, vendors, sponsors, performers, volunteers and of course, attendees!
- Donations – items for raffle or sale or monetary support (all are tax-deductible)
- Vendors – tables for food or product sales and/or informational displays are available for a small, tax deductible and negotiable fee
- Volunteer – for anything!
- Performers – any fun folks who love to entertain! Artists, singers, mystical arts practitioners, card dealers, jugglers, etc.
Since it is a fundraiser we can not pay performers but can offer other benefits. They can earn tips and get great publicity – can be featured in advertising (online, tv, newspaper, radio), posters and an event program. They can also receive a tax deduction for the value of the time they spend.
Guests are encouraged to come as they are – or how they MIGHT have been in the 20′s!
